"We are trying to arrange a Summer 2008 “Lads and Dad’s” weekend away.

A number of the Dads and Lads have been asking about arranging a combined  “Summer Non Rugby Tour” and between a few Coaches, we have decided to try and arrange a Team building activity weekend at “Stubbers Adventure Centre” in Upminster in late June, 2008.

We would be looking to stay in tented accommodation for two nights from Friday 13th June, returning at lunchtime on the Sunday. During the stay breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided along with four activities such as raft building, tunnelling, climbing, high wire, archery and the like (see their website for details on www.stubbers.co.uk). The total cost per person is £84 and must be paid in full by the end of February. A number of the Coaches have already committed themselves and their sons to this idea but we need a minimum of 30 people to book our place (we can take up to 64). Please register your interest with your Team Manager.

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL SRFC RUGBY TOUR, BUT RATHER A FUN WEEKEND FOR THE PLAYERS AND DADS ALIKE. AS SUCH IT IS NOT SANCTIONED BY SRFC OR THE RFU.
